Starting your journey with the NDIS
Discover how to initiate your journey with the NDIS and how Incluso Services can assist to optimise your NDIS Plan.
Here’s what you need to know
Step One: Eligibility Check to access the NDIS
- Live in Australia
- Be under the age of 65
- Hold Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency
To qualify for the NDIS you need to have a disability caused by permanent impairment that:
- Limits your effectiveness in engaging in activities or completing tasks without aid.
- Impairs your ability to participate socially and economically.
- Indicates a probable need for NDIS assistance throughout your lifetime.

Step Two: Engaging with the NDIS
At Incluso Services we are happy to guide all individuals through the NDIS application process, to start your NDIS application you can:
- Contact your local area coordinator using the Local Area Coordinator Finder Tool
- Call the NDIS on 1800 800 110 to start the process.
- Complete the below form and email it to [email protected]
Step Three: Wait to hear back from the NDIA
Once you have completed the above step, the NDIA will inform you if you have been accepted into the NDIS or not. They could also reach out to ask for more information. The usually waiting time for the NDIA to make their decision is within 21 days but can vary.
Step Four: Prepare for your planning meeting
