What changes are in the NDIS Price Guide 2025?

Support worker pay rates have increased

There has been a 3.95% increase in the price limits for disability support workers. This is in line with updates to the minimum wage and Superannuation Guarantee.

If you’re a participant, you don’t need to make any changes, your core supports funding has been automatically adjusted to reflect this rate increase. This ensures you can continue to access the same level of support, even as provider wages go up.

Therapy pricing changes: lower for some, higher for others

As part of a national pricing review, the NDIS has adjusted the price limits for several allied health services based on real-world costs.

Here’s how NDIS therapy price changes 2025 look:

NDIS physiotherapy rate 2025: Decreased by $10, now capped at $183.99/hour
NDIS psychology pricing 2025: Increased by $10, now capped at $232.99/hour
Dietetics and podiatry: Each reduced by $5, now capped at $188.99/hour

Core supports funding

To account for inflation and rising care costs, core supports funding increased by 4.36%. This includes support such as daily personal care, household help, and social and community participation.

The NDIA has automatically applied this increase to participant budgets. You don’t need to do anything, but it’s still a good idea to confirm with your support coordinator or plan manager.

Plan management funding adjustments

The NDIS has removed certain price differentials and fees in plan management, including:

The “critical establishment” fee
Rural and remote pricing differences

These changes result in a $35 million reduction in plan management funding across the scheme. While this doesn’t directly impact most participants, it may affect how some plan managers operate or structure their services.
